50+ Bible verses about thanksgiving & thankfulness to celebrate the month of November & to give thanks to God for His mercy & blessings.
We have made it to the end of another month! And since next Wednesday is the first day of November & the month of giving thanks, I thought it would be fitting to make this month’s themed Bible verse collection all about giving thanks & thankfulness.
There are over 130 Bible verses with the word “thank” in them, but I have tried to narrow it down to my top 50+.
I’ve also included a few thoughts next to some of the verses that spoke to me as I was curating this collection of thankful bible verses.
And if you are looking for more themed collections of Bible verses & words of encouragement, you can find all of my confessions of faith here.
I pray you have a beautiful November filled with thanksgiving to God!

They were to do the same in the evening” – 1 Chronicles 23:30 NIV I thought this is a wonderful reminder to praise & thank God everyday. It can be so easy to spend our time in prayer asking for things. And even though it is good to ask for guidance in our own lives & healing in other peoples lives, we must remember the importance of praising God & thanking Him for His love, guidance, & ultimate gift. I pray that in every breath I take I will give thanks to Him.
