I know Monday’s can be the most agonizingly long day of the week, so I thought I would share something that would brighten your day & give you something fun & relaxing to do this evening!
If you are as in love with the adult coloring craze as I am, than you are going to love this little DIY that’s super simple & will look great sitting on your desk filled with your favorite Prismacolor products & craft supplies!
Speaking of which! Have you tried Prismacolor’s Premier Colored Pencils? They are AMAZING!! And I’m not just saying that!
When I was at Michaels picking out my Prismacolor Premier Set of colored pencils there was a lady down the aisle from me looking at art supplies & she excitedly came over to me to tell me how great Prismacolor products are & that I was going to love them!
Of course I couldn’t wait to get home & try them out!
And let me tell you, there is a BIG difference between the colored pencils I was using before & these Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils! They color so smoothly & I love how rich the colors look!
Hence this adorable little Craft Supply Holder!
Empty Tissue Box (Any size)
Empty Paper Rolls
I used basic brown craft paper (the kind that comes on a roll used for packing), but if you want to start with a white, blank sheet you could use the back side of leftover Christmas paper.
One of my favorite things about this DIY Craft Supply Holder is that you can draw any design or picture on your craft paper! Since my coloring skills are better used for adult coloring books, rather than artistic freehand, I decided to draw something I have been drawing since I was a child. Hearts!
Hearts aren’t just for valentines! I love crafting so much I had to wrap my Craft Supply Box in them!
But again, you can draw & color on it however you want to make your Craft Supply Holder completely unique to you!
Cut the top of the empty tissue box off.
Then glue the back side of the craft paper around the tissue box.
Next I trimmed the edges & glued the excess paper to the inside of the tissue box, excuse me, Craft Supply Holder!
Next, add as many empty paper rolls as will fit in your Craft Supply Holder.
You want the paper rolls to be snug so that your craft supplies won’t slide around as you craft & create.
I am in love with how this turned out! I’m thinking I might need to head to Michaels again soon so I can fill my little Craft Supply Holder up with even more crafty goodies!
