How to Create a Holiday Coffee Bar that can be enjoyed all season!
The most exciting thing happened at the beginning of November! We finally had a fully functioning kitchen again!! After 5 months of using our family’s kitchens & living on take-out, it feels so good to have my own kitchen to create in again! Of course, one of the first things that I did once everything was installed was set up our coffee bar!
And since fall in Tennessee this year was a bit of a letdown I decided to skip straight to the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! Yes, there has been a lot of Christmas music playing throughout our newly renovated little home these last few weeks!
I may have become a little obsessed with our Holiday Coffee Bar, I dare say it might be my favorite place in our house right now. As I’m sure you have noticed on my Instagram Stories, I spend a lot of time in this little corner of our kitchen.
It didn’t take long to have it fully stocked with the essentials, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, vanilla cane sugar, flavored syrups, & my favorite coffee mugs.
However, I couldn’t keep all of this holiday cheer to myself, I needed to share this festive joy with my dearest friends too! And since you all won’t fit in our little kitchen I am going to share with you, my top 5 tips on How to Create a Holiday Coffee Bar for your home this holiday season!
Of course, the most important thing that you need for a Holiday Coffee Bar is the coffee! Dunkin’ Donuts has a wide variety of options, ranging from their original blend, to k-cups, to tea, to hot chocolate! I’ve recently switched to decaf for a variety of reasons, one of which includes both of our families begging Santa for a little baby Miller this Christmas. So I figured I should go ahead & stock up on Dunkin’ Donuts Decaf K-Cups! You can’t be over prepared with coffee, right?
I picked up my Dunkin’ Donuts Decaf K-Cups at Walmart in the coffee aisle, & I’ll be back there soon to pick up some of their other varieties for our friends & family this holiday season!
I recommend keeping a drawer or cupboard ready & filled with your favorite Dunkin’ Donuts variety for whoever & wherever the holiday season takes you!

2. Holiday Decorations
I decided to go with a white & gold color theme for our festive Holiday Coffee Bar, but you could easily do something more traditional with red & green, or simply use your favorite decorations from Christmases past!
As soon as we get our Christmas tree this season I will add some trimmings to our Holiday Coffee Bar too! But until then, I think these little decorations really bring out the golden joy of Christmas!
3. Twinkle Lights
Twinkle lights are always special this time of year & I decided to use fairy lights for an extra special touch for early mornings & late nights. I definitely recommend fairy twinkle lights if you are working with a smaller space this season. I love how they add a special glow without overcrowding our Holiday Coffee Bar.
4. Festive Flavor Additions
Your family, friends, & guests will love having the option to add different festive flavors to their variety of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. You could have peppermint or pumpkin spice syrups, flavored sugar, candy canes, or anything else that feels festive & flavorful!
5. Special Sweet Treats
What’s a Holiday Coffee Bar without something special to nibble on with your hot cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee?
Now that we finally have a kitchen again I have promised Roger to keep our little coffee corner stocked with good treats! The first thing I made this season were these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows & I’m thinking homemade scones (specifically these Dark Chocolate Cherry Scones) will be next on my sweet treat baking agenda!
With love, G
