10 easy brunch ideas to make your party fun, delicious, & memorable!
Brunch is my favorite meal of the day! There are so many options ranging from pastries to fresh fruit, to asparagus tarts, what’s not to love? Since I have a tendency to accidently skip breakfast on working weekdays I usually end up eating brunch around 10ish every day, just me, my brunch, & my computer. However, the weekends are a whole other story.
On the weekends Roger & I love to create a whole array of brunch treats for a brunch buffet, sometimes just for ourselves & occasionally with & for others. And since spring feels like an extra brunchy time of year (& it’s just around the corner) I thought I would share with you 10 brunch tips for throwing a last-minute brunch with the help of VitaTops for those with a busy lifestyle who still want to indulge on the good things in life.
And in case you can’t tell from the pictures below, I love mindfully indulging on colorful fruits & nutritious treats for brunch!
1. Accept Help
Accepting help is the easiest way to relieve stress. Always accept if someone offers to bring something. And don’t be afraid to ask for help too! Even something as simple as drinks or ice can be a huge help to a busy hostess with a lot on her mind.
2. Mix & Match
Mixing & matching your dinnerware can be the easiest way to ensure you have enough plates for all of your guests. Especially when you have guests who often bring a friend last minute.
3. Keep it Simple & Delicious
The quickest dish is one that you simply pop in the oven, toaster, or microwave. No additional work required is always going to be your best tool when throwing a last minute party. VitaTops has a delicious array of MuffinTops that will make your role as hostess easy & will delight your guests with their guilt-free treats. You can find them in a store near you by clicking here. I found my VitaTops MuffinTops at Publix! You can find yours at your nearest Publix, Kroger, Stop & Shop, Shop-Rite, or Target locations. I picked up my Deep Chocolate & Wild Blueberry MuffinTops in the frozen section at Publix. And be sure not to miss out on this awesome coupon deal too, simply click here to get your coupon.
4. Quick Decor
You can easily decorate for your brunch by using your seasonal decor, finding free printables online, & even the fresh fruit you will be serving.
5. Use Flowers
One of the simplest ways to create a beautiful tablescape is to use flowers that match your party theme. I love to arrange flowers in various heights of glass vases & jars. I’ve even done this in the fall at thanksgiving! You can see the flowers I chose in this video or by scrolling to the end of these tips.
6. Use What You Have
One of the best ways to stay on budget, without having to go to the grocery store, is to use the food you already have in your kitchen. You can easily get creative & create delicious dishes using what you have readily available. Need some help coming up with ideas? Simply type your main ingredients into Pinterest for some fresh ideas!
7. No Recipe, No Problem
If you are worried about trying new recipes for your last minute party, stick to what you know. Create a double or triple batch of your famous biscuits & pair it with gravy, jam, or even eggs. Or you can simply serve your favorite ready made VitaTops for all your guests to enjoy. Quick & easy! And the Deep Chocolate MuffinTops seem to be everybody’s favorite healthy gluten free MuffinTops! You won’t feel guilty while indulging on these low fat, high fiber treats that only have 100-150 calories.
8. Make What You Know
And if you are looking for something that will excite your guests taste buds & make them want to take an Instagram picture, just create what you know & make a buffet! You could make a biscuit buffet as mentioned above (using canned or semi-homemade biscuits), a waffle buffet (frozen or semi-homemade) with loads of toppings, or a parfait buffet with lots of fruit options.
9. Semi-Homemade is Your Friend
Never be afraid of creating semi-homemade. Those recipes can be your best friend & sometimes they even turn out better than recipes you slave on for hours!
10. Create Quick Party Favors
I love giving hostess gifts when I go to a new friends home & party favors are something I personally am trying to remember when I host special gatherings. What I often forget is that they don’t have to take a lot of time or effort to be special. These MuffinTops would make an adorable treat all wrapped up & displayed for my guests to take home with them. They make a special little reminder of the delicious meal & good memories we made together. Plus, your friends will thank you later for the quick on the go treat they will have for their busy week! Especially since all of VitaTops deliciously indulgent MuffinTops use only clean & simple ingredients, & offer a wide range of nutritional benefits! A win-win for everyone!
Be sure to visit VitaTops for a high-value coupon & to find stores that carry VitaTops Muffin Tops near you!
