All photos taken on my iPhone – I’ll try to remember to take pictures on my camera next time.
I probably should have made this the first post that I shared on my new sub category – Life Lately – but oh well!
Last week I shared on Facebook that I am interested in starting to share posts about what is happening in our lives (not just recipes & crafts) & I asked my readers what they thought the title of this new little section should be on my blog.
After getting way more responses than I thought I would – Thanks guys! – I decided to go with the suggestion that had the most “likes.” So I now present to you the newest section of my blog under the category Confessions where I will be sharing short – to long – posts about what has been happening in our life.
Now I know not everyone will be as interested in what is happening in our Life Lately (ps I love alliteration), but since so much is going to be changing over the next few years I thought that this little category will be a good way to keep you up to date with all our happenings. So now that I have Life Lately I won’t be overloading my recipes & craft posts with updates & I will have the ability to share more with all of you!
My Marshmallow Munchkins
So here’s what’s been going on in our Life Lately:
On Friday we headed up to Tennessee (with a yummy strawberry frap) to spend the weekend with our families. After a yummy Indian meal at my parents home, to celebrate both my grandparents birthday, we headed up to visit Roger’s family & spend some time enjoying the beautiful Tennessee spring weather.
My sister brought her guitar & all the little ones gathered to hear her play & to sing along too. Don’t you just love all the pink in this picture?
Princess Hannah getting a turn being pushed in the wagon.
We ate veggie burgers, roasted marshmallows, & just had a wonderful time being together.
On Sunday morning I headed over to my sister Chas’s new home-to-be to help paint for an hour or two before we went to do some wedding things. I have done very little house painting in my days so I think I ended up with more paint on me & in my hair than than on the walls, but I had a lot of fun & it was so nice to get to hang out with my sis for a little bit!
Oh, & I can’t wait to show you her new home! As soon as they are all settled in I am going to do a special post dedicated to showing you their new home!
Until next time!
