As I was editing through the last of our summer pictures I couldn’t help but exclaim over & over (to a room of 1) how much I love my family. There really is no better gift than time with those you love. So I thought I would share a few more pictures from our summer in Tennessee & Ohio in a new life lately post. And if you missed my Florida Keys life lately you can find that post here.
At the beginning of the summer my father-in-law found this beautiful handmade T-Pee for his grandchildren to enjoy. And at the end of the summer we had a little Pow Wow & all 10 grandchildren partook in this fun new family tradition.
Even this little one got in on the action as the chief of the tribe!
I have only been to the Miller farm 4 times, but I have already made invaluable memories that will last forever.
Going on treasure hunts in the bean fields for the golf balls my husband “lost.”
Taking tractor rides down old Ohio roads.
Mini photo shoots – thanks babe!
Or simply picking wildflowers with my mother-in-law while strolling with the family down their old Ohio road.
Summer 2015 was one I will always remember & cherish. And although this is going to be a long school year, filled with lots of uncertainty & anticipation, I will hold tight to the memories of this summer as I look forward to those we will enjoy next summer!
With love, G
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
What you have learned & received & heard & seen in me – practice these things, & the God of peace will be with you.
