A mini spring kitchen decor tour to inspire & brighten your day.
Anyone else ready for spring?
I know spring officially started on Tuesday, it still feels like winter, even here in Chattanooga! I’m not sure how that is possible!
I started decorating for spring weeks ago. But since it is still so cold I can only decorate inside, which while fun, can be kind of frustrating when you really want to be enjoying some fresh air after a neverending winter.
I so desperately want to add some spring curb appeal to our home, but since it keeps freezing & we’ve had random snow flurries I’m afraid to plant anything right now.
Although it still looks like winter outside, I’ve been keeping our home filled with flowers & replacing winter blues with spring pastels.
My favorite is the colored antique jar that belonged to Roger’s grandmother.
She gave it to me a few summers back after she noticed the collection of blue jars & glass insulators I was collecting from flea markets & antique stores while visiting the Ohio farm.
And since it’s my favorite jar I’ve decided to keep it front & center on our kitchen island.
Oh, & aren’t those the most gorgeous faux flowers you’ve ever seen?
Every time I go into a decor store I find new faux flowers that I love! It’s amazing how much more realistic faux flowers appear these days in comparison to just a few years ago.
I use to hate faux flowers, but over the last few years, I’ve started gathering pieces here & there that I love!
Just about all of the decor in these pictures are from World Market, Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, & TJMaxx with a few pieces here & there from Anthropologie, IKEA, & Magnolia Market.
And if there is a specific piece you need to add to your spring decor I’ve listed all the items I could find online below the next picture.
