As we were preparing to put our home on the market (you can read more about that here) one of the things on our to-do list was to finish furnishing our living room.
The room didn’t need too much, just a new rug, coffee table, and a new side table (we moved the black side table to our entryway).
We spent a lot of time looking at coffee tables online, but everything in the size we wanted was WAY over our budget.
So in the end we decided to DIY the coffee table (tutorial coming in the next few weeks).
And I’m in love with how it turned out!
Finding a new large rug (ours is 9X12) in our price range was also difficult, but that wasn’t something we could DIY.
Thankfully we eventually found this one.
And finally, our hunt for a side table brought us to this cutie.
If you can’t guess, we are hoping to make our next home a little more french country, so we decided that any furniture we bought needed to align with our upcoming home style.
And that’s it!
Our living room is officially complete, and our house is on the market!
