3 ways to save time this holiday season.
‘Tis the season of busyness. Normally there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day, but then you add in the holiday season & BAM! A whole day will go by & in the evening you will be left wondering: Did I eat lunch or even breakfast? This is the season that I want to last the longest, yet it always seems to fly by with all of the things we need to do.
I know I can’t be alone in this feeling. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of people rushing around, both on the roads & in a constant stream of social media posts. And I know we can all use as much extra time as we can get right now.
So today I decided to share with you 3 Ways to Save Time this Holiday Season.
1. Walmart Online Grocery Pickup
I first heard about Walmart Online Grocery Pickup from my sister (in-law). She shared about it on Facebook & I was instantly intrigued. So I decided to try it out for myself & see if it is as quick, easy, & free as I had heard. Turns out it’s all true!!
I grew up in a small town & going to Walmart with my mom as a child meant bumping into people we know on every aisle & then spending about 10 minutes talking to each person. While I don’t mind a friendly hello, this is a crazy busy season & Walmart has given us a wonderful gift that will allow us to get the same great prices as in their store, but in the comfort of our home & car! Yes, you read that right! You don’t even have to get out of your car to get your groceries! They will load your car for you!!
If you haven’t heard of Walmart Online Grocery Pickup let me explain.
Basically, it’s a fast & easy way to shop. First, you set up a free account. Second, you select your needed groceries & products online or from the Walmart Grocery app on your phone ($30 minimum purchase). Next, you set your pickup time, location, & pay for your groceries. Then you drive to Walmart & they load up your car in minutes with all of the things you ordered online.
They will even show you all of the produce you ordered so that you can verify it’s freshness. They even have a “Peace of Mind” promise that their expert team will choose the freshest items for you guaranteed or your money back! How awesome is that? Oh, & since it’s the holiday season, right now you can even order select table settings (like plates & silverware), Christmas decorations, & artificial Christmas trees through Walmart Online Grocery!
And guess what? It’s free! There are no service fees & you get the same every day low prices that you find in Walmart’s store!
To show you just how easy it is I have created a video showing you the step-by-step process so that you too can save a ton of time this holiday season, click here to watch it! Want to start saving time right now? You can click here to learn more & start saving time now!
2. Gift Shop Online & Call Around
Instead of wasting time driving from store to store & aimlessly wandering around the mall looking for the perfect gifts for your friends & family take a few minutes to jot down a list of items they might like. Then try to find them online & order them to be delivered to you or your friend. If it’s something only found in stores call around to the stores you think might carry the product. Once you have found it ask if they will hold it for you. Then you can simply spend one afternoon driving to each store that is holding your items to pay for them & pick them up. Christmas shopping = DONE!!!
3. Homemade vs. Store Bought vs. Semi-homemade
The pressure is on this time of year to make homemade treats & goodies for all of your parties, friends, family, neighbors, guests, postman/postwoman, trash pickup team, etc. It’s exhausting!! If you don’t have time to make homemade for everyone don’t be afraid of creating semi-homemade, or even simpler, store bought goodies for everyone. I won’t tell if you don’t make it homemade!
Plus, you can save even more time by purchasing your store bought goodies through Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. I’ll take a box of their bakery donuts, please!
