5 beauty travel tips for flying to keep you feeling fresh & beautiful for your next vacation!

 

A few weekends ago we took our first trip in 2018. We had some big plans for this year, but as we come closer to closing on our building loan we are thinking of making some adjustments that will still allow us to travel, but less internationally & more around the north-west & northeast of the United States. 

Ironically, our first trip this year was to Cancun, Mexico & was not originally in our travel plans. Go figure! So while we do have the rest of our spring trips planned, summer & fall travel is all just tentative. 

But what I do know is that we will be doing a lot more traveling this year. So I thought I’d share some of my favorite travel beauty tips when flying.

It’s always a bit of a conundrum when traveling, on the one side you want to be comfortable, but on the other, you are jet setting off on an adventure & want to look & feel your best. So hopefully these tips will help you be able to do both without any extra work, stress, or time.

And luckily these 5 tips are super simple & easy to add to your flying routine & include one of my favorite beauty hacks of using Equate Fragrance Free Makeup Remover Towelettes to stay fresh & clean.

 

 

1. Drink Water

By drinking more water you will be less tired, which means you will look less tired.

Increase your intake of water 24-48 hours before flying & continue to drink lots of water during & after your flight.

 

2. Travel Comfortably

You know best what is the most comfortable outfit for you. I love dresses & basically live in them.

And while some people may find them uncomfortable I love wearing cozy cotton dresses with stockings & and a light jacket for a cold flight. Then when we arrive at a warm sunny location I can easily shed the stockings & jacket for a more beachy look.

 

 

3. Clean Your Face

Having a clean face while flying is very important to me, especially when flying overnight!
