50 Winter Date Ideas to keep your love on fire during the coldest months of the year!
I have been having so much fun with my on-going seasonal & holiday date ideas posts series that it is only logical that my first post this year be one with 50 Winter Date Ideas!
The thing about dating when you are married is that basically anything can be a date.
For example, in the summer my husband & I will jump in the car & to a local Hawaiian ice stand & call it a (mini) date.
And in the winter we’ll go to a local coffee shop & share a cup of hot chocolate. It might be small & simple, but it’s all about carving time out (big or little) & making a memory together that will last a lifetime.
So some of the 50 Winter Date Ideas are single activities/ideas that can be enjoyed in the spur of the moment (with only a few minutes alone) or they can be combined with other ideas in this list to create a longer more epic date!
Here is a mini sample of the 50 Winter Date Ideas:
- Spend a day building something together for your home. A coffee table, a wooden keepsake box (for your love letters), or a side table.
- Go ice skating.
- Find a new indoor sport you both enjoy, like racquetball or indoor rock climbing, & make it a weekly or bi-monthly date.
- Visit your favorite museum or aquarium & afterward enjoy a local restaurant.
- Build an igloo out of snow or (if you live in the south) out of pillows.
No matter what you do this winter, make sure to carve some time out of your busy lives & enjoy quality time with your special someone!

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
