I am so excited to share with you my Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub Review, especially because I was able to take it with me to the Florida Keys & take some fun pictures with it! I was planning on sharing this review with you last week, but it can be kind of hard blogging while on vacation, but that just gave me more time to get to know Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub.

 

So let’s start at the beginning. 

When I first opened up my Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub I was ecstatic! I have used salt in baths but I can’t ever remember having tried a salt scrub before so I was super eager to try it out. The only problem was that I am a newbie to salt scrubs & the directions on the container left me a little unsure of how, when, & how often to use their product. Yes, I was that much of a newbie. 

So I started doing some research, I looked up what the brand had to say (which you can read below) along with other reviewers. I read that it’s good to use in the shower, sometimes even in baths, that some people say they use it before they shave their legs, & to use it 2-3 times a week.

Now of course I wouldn’t have expected the directions on the bottle to have said all of that, but at least the 2-3 times a week part would have been nice.

I was however glad that it said to “Avoid cuts or open wounds” & I would also add that you might not want to rub it on sunburn like I did later in the week… Whoops!

So once I had learned about how to use salt scrubs I was even more eager to try my new Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub.

 

 

 

So I’ll just come out & say it, I loved my Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub! I love the fresh ocean breeze smell, I love the light blue color, I love how dead sea salt scrub feels on my skin, & I especially love the moisturizing natural oils (which I read is not a normal aspect of salt scrubs). 

The only problem I had (once I figured out how to use the product) was that basically all of the oil leaked out.

I used it one time, left it in the shower sitting upright (like any normal human), & when I came back to pack it in my suitcase I discovered that there was more of the moisturizing natural oils outside of the container than inside.

I haven’t come across anyone else having the same problem, so this could have just been a fluke & a manufacturing problem with only my container, but I really don’t know. I really liked the moisturizing natural oils, it made my skin feel extra soft, but I can still enjoy the scrubs without the oils. However, if I was to purchase Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub in the future I might transferring it to another container just to be on the safe side. Oils leaking in a shower can be a slippery mess for those of us who are clumsily inclined.
