Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go according to plan & you can’t seem to get anything right?
Well, that happened to me last Thursday & then again on Friday!
I just could not seem to get the lighting right for these pictures.
I made these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows Thursday, took pictures, edited them, & then decided they were junk.
I mean the pictures, not this yummy dessert!
So then I tried again Friday morning.
Photographed, edited, & hated them again.
I tried several more times & then decided to do some baking to relieve some stress.
Apparently baking when you are already frustrated with food is not a good idea…
I was developing a new fall recipe based off of this original & perfect Zucchini Bread recipe & the new recipe completely failed!
It was just one of those days.
I just pushed through & finally photographed some decent pictures.
And while it took me forever to photograph them these are probably one of the easiest dessert recipes to make!
You really need to try these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows right now!!
They were a huge hit with my family this weekend I can’t wait to make them again for a Christmas party!
Oh, & in case you are wondering, chocolate sea salt is amazing!!
Seriously, it’s so good I don’t understand why it isn’t in every store, let alone why I couldn’t even find it on Amazon!!

What I love about these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows is that you can top them with just about anything, such as sea salt, sprinkles, or nuts!
Plus you can eat them as marshmallow pops or dunk them in hot chocolate.
You can even remove the sticks & add them to your indoor baked s’mores!
But no matter how you top them or eat them these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows are the perfect sweet treat addition to any dinner, party, or date night!
Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows
Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows are a delicious treat, especially when sprinkled with chocolate sea salt! But no matter how you top them or eat them these Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows are a perfect sweet treat to add to any dinner or party!
- Prep Time: 5
- Cook Time: 5
- Total Time: 10
- First, place the lollipop sticks in the top of each marshmallow on a tray lined with wax paper.
- Melt your caramel according to the packaging directions, let cool slightly, then cover each marshmallow in caramel & let harden.
- Next, melt the dark chocolate melting wafers according to the package directions, dip each caramel marshmallow in chocolate, & add your favorite toppings.
- Let harden & enjoy!
- I noticed that some of the caramel stuck to the wax paper so next time I will spray oil on top of the wax paper.
- If the caramel is too hot the marshmallow may begin to melt.
- I popped my caramel marshmallows in the freezer for a few minutes while I melted the chocolate to help them harden faster.
These are so easy to make I’m thinking they would be cute as little favors for a party & that they would even be a fun addition at a bake sale fundraiser!
