I have officially finished decorating our home for Christmas!
I’m so excited!!
And I’m so glad I started in the middle of October or else I probably wouldn’t be done until the new year.
I actually finished this space a while ago, but I had to wait a week before photographing because of the wind and rain.
We get a crazy amount of wind through this porch, which is absolutely amazing during the spring, summer, and fall.
But it does make it a little difficult to photograph.
So I did my best to wait patiently for just the right moment.
As I mentioned in my front porch blog post, I sadly can’t keep this decor outside all Christmas season.
Because we live in the woods anything left outside is fair game to the woodland creatures that travel through and live on our property.
So since I can’t leave everything outside I simply repurpose the pillows and throws from inside to create a cozy atmosphere on our back patio.
It takes about two trips, but only because the pillows and blankets are so fluffy and cozy!
And since we have such mild winters (it was warmer outside today than it was inside our home) we really don’t use the throw blankets too much outside.
Now that the last of our home is decorated for Christmas I am looking forward to spending a little bit more time with my family!
But don’t worry, I still have lots more holiday tips, tricks, hacks, and inspiration planned for the coming weeks.
