Cozy Front Porch Christmas Decor with bright red poinsettias and cozy blankets for star gazing while sipping on hot chocolate.

Want to hear something funny?
I bought these beautiful Christmas plants with the intention of leaving them outside all winter long, only to discover that they don’t like cold weather.
I guess next time I need to check their tags before I buy them.
So we are currently taking them inside at night and then back outside during the day.
But since no one‘s here to enjoy them, but us, our new plan is to gift them to people this Christmas.
And while I love them on our front porch, I think that giving them away to friends, family, and strangers is a much better purpose for them!

And on a completely different note, I somehow convinced Roger to move some of our back patio furniture to our front porch “just for the Christmas season.”
But he loves it so much that he has finally agreed to let me leave it on the front porch.
This means that I get to buy new furniture for the back patio in the spring!
I’m not sure why it took so long for him to agree, especially because I’ll be paying for them, but it all works out in the end.
Does anyone else have a husband that takes some convincing on something, but once they see it for themselves and like it then they agree. Or worse yet, act like it was their idea?
HaHa! I don’t care who gets the credit, I’m just excited to have a new space to decorate each season!

When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
