I absolutely love cinnamon rolls, especially when they are homemade. Unfortunately, I do not always have time – or patience – to make them, especially when it is early in the morning and I’m starving! One morning I was craving cinnamon rolls and after finding a can of crescent rolls in the fridge I decided to make these yummy cinnamon rolls. These Crescent Cinnamon Rolls are super easy to make, so easy that you might find yourself making them on a regular basis!
What you’ll need:
1 can Crescent Rolls
2 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon (or less)
Icing:
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon French Vanilla Creamer
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
Splash of lemon
First, lay out the crescent dough on a lightly oiled counter and pinch seems together.
Next, spread the butter on top of the dough – if the butter is too hard 5 seconds in the microwave will do the trick!
Then sprinkle on the ¼ cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
Roll up the dough and cut into 1 inch long pieces.
Place the crescent cinnamon rolls into buttered pan. You could use a mini muffin pan, cake pan, or bread pan.
Bake according to the crescent dough directions. – 375 for 10 -15 minutes.
While they are baking you can make this simple icing. Mix together ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 tbs French vanilla creamer, 1/8 tsp vanilla extract, and a splash of lemon. If it is too thick add more creamer, if too thin add more powdered sugar.
Once your crescent cinnamon rolls are done, let cool, top with icing, and enjoy!
