The Reach of Light
As believers, we have a responsibility to our family, friends, neighborhood, co-workers, mailman, grocery bagger, & anyone & everyone else we come in contact with in our daily life.
Sometimes our interactions are as brief as the blink of an eye other times it’s a lifetime commitment.
But no matter where we are or what we are doing we are representing not just ourselves, our family, or our religion, but most importantly we are representing God.
It’s a whole lot of responsibility & one that should not be taken lightly.
But the job description is simple: Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate & humble. 1 Peter 3:8 NIV
Trying to reach the whole world can be a mighty goal (one God will complete), but today I want to encourage you to just reach one person.
I’m not saying you need to sit someone down & convert them, but rather touch someone’s life with love & compassion.
Let your faith shine through your actions.
Through kindness, gentleness, & words of encouragement.
Let God’s light shine through you & touch someone’s life so that they may see Christ through you.
For we have been called to “Live as children of light.” (Ephesians 5:8)
