So December’s traffic statistics were down as expected. However, I am actually not too sad about this because I noticed that my stats went down around the holidays. I am so glad so many people chose to turn off their computers & spend time with their family during the holiday season!
Even though my traffic stats are down, I will go ahead & admit that what has helped me not be too sad about this is that I had a jump at the beginning of the new year because of my post on the New Years Matches Sign. I have read that the first few months of the year are usually slower for bloggers, but I’m hoping & praying that my blog is growing – & not becoming stagnate – & that my traffic actually grows.
Of course that means that I need to make sure that I am blogging consistently & working on getting my posts on a variety of other sources. If you like Domestically Blissful & want to give me a hand I always love it when you pin & repin my posts! You have no idea how wonderful it is when you do this – it makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside – & every time you you share, tweet, or pin from my site you help my blog grow! So thank you!
Somehow I got swept up in Christmas decor last month & forgot to post any recipes – which explains why I did not receive many views from food websites…
I was surprised to see that my Pizza Pinwheels are all of a sudden getting so many views. This year I am planning on starting a new thing called Transformation Tuesday in which I will be transforming old posts in a variety of ways – such as taking new pictures, adding a more detailed description or instructions. So since the Pizza Pinwheels are over a year old I guess this post will be added to this list & put near the top!
Income Report
Somehow, even though I didn’t get as many views in December as I did in November I still managed to make almost as much income. Crazy!
Income:
Gourmet Ads: $64.52
Amazon Affiliate Program: $23.66
Chitika: $3.49
Total: $91.67
Expenses:
None. At least I didn’t “pay” for any blogging expenses this month.
