Disney outfit inspiration for your next Disney vacation.
A couple of months ago I shared all of my Disney finds & recent purchases on Instagram Stories & I had so much fun having you all vote on what you liked best & what I should wear to Disney.
So today I thought I’d share a little Disney outfit inspiration with you while sharing my thoughts on each outfit that you chose for me to wear in Disney World.
Along with these 3 outfits, I also thought I’d share a little curated collection of my favorite finds online for Disney.
And OH MY GOODNESS there are so many options!
I tried to narrow them down & categorize them for you to make your shopping a little bit easier.
And if you do see something you like, but it’s not the color you want, many of the items below come in a variety of colors so that you can pick just the right one that fits your style!
This is Roger totally making fun of me wanting a picture with every angle of the castle.
Also, don’t you love his Pizza Planet shirt we found online!!
First up is this flirty skirt & Making Magic Happen top.
I wore this outfit on Friday & it was definitely my most casual Disney outfit & my second favorite during this Disney trip.
The white short sleeve Making Magic Happen top was a bit sheer so I just added a thin white tank top underneath.
Honestly, you probably don’t need a white tank top, my sister always jokes about how I always wear one (personal preference), but the thinness of the shirt is really nice for that hot Florida sun.
This top was ordered through SHEIN, but I also found it here on Amazon in grey.
I ordered the skater skirt on Amazon, & somehow I didn’t even realize until it arrived that it was a SHEIN skirt.
The reviews made it clear that I should go up in size, so since I normally wear a small/medium I ordered a Medium just to see how it fits.
With free returns how could I go wrong?
And while it fit a little snuggly, it was definitely not the right size for feasting on Disney treats.
I returned it & ordered an XL & it fit just the way I wanted it to!
This red polka dot dress was my absolute favorite outfit during our 2 day Disney vacation.
Although about 50% of the people who took part in the poll said they didn’t like it, 50% of you voted that you loved it, & I personally LOVED it too!!
And while the pictures aren’t great, as I changed into this dress Thursday night just before sunset so we were losing light, you can totally see how much I love this dress since it is photographed the most.
This dress was loose & flowy, which is always a win in my book.
I ordered a small, but I really wish they had XS available as it was a little looser than I would have liked.
I actually bought some safety pins right before we left so that I could make the dress tighter & more form fitting.
If I had a little more time before we left I would have sewed it, but now that we are home I am definitely going to hand sew the back ruffle (on the inside) a bit so that it is a bit more form-fitting, while still keeping the natural loose flow.
Seriously though, my favorite red dress!
I have to keep reminding myself that it’s still too cold here in Tennessee to wear it.
And if you aren’t a huge fan of red this dress also comes in a variety of other colors you will love!
I’m honestly tempted to by one in every color.
Oh, & before I forget, that cute little Minnie mouse purse is actually supposed to be a backpack, but the straps were adjustable so I used it as both a purse Thursday night & a backpack on Friday.
This backpack/purse is a bit on the small side, but I was able to pack quite a bit into it including, 2 sunglasses cases, 1 glasses case, Minnie ears, Roger’s wallet, keys, 2 hand sanitizers (in case we lost 1), & a bunch of little random things like bandaids & hairbands.
I also bought this Buckle Strap Decor Flap Backpack (which is about 2-3 times the size of the other bag) so that I could fit our rain jackets in it for the water rides.
Somehow I didn’t get a picture of it in Disney on Thursday, but no worries, I’ll be photographing it this summer on one of our other upcoming trips.
Purses & Bags
I actually wore this outfit on the first day (Thursday) of our trip.
And while it is super cute, it was a bit out of my comfort zone.
But that’s why I had you all vote for your favorite outfits because I wanted to try something new!
Sizing at SHEIN can be a bit all over the place & while I loved the top & it fit just right (with the help of a few strips of body tape), the skirt is so small I plan to pass it down to my 9-year-old niece.
Yes, that’s how small the skirt was created.
Luckily I had assumed the skirt would be too small & had always planned on wearing it with a black skirt.
This black skirt was stiffer than the one above & if you only need/want one, I recommend the flirty skirt above.
Now onto sunglasses.
I am obsessed with my heart sunglasses!
I first ordered them in red & loved them so much I had to order a second pair in black.
And I’m so glad I did because I foresee myself wearing the black ones a lot in the coming months.
Also, somehow I forgot to get a picture of myself wearing my Minnie’s ears.
Oh well, that just means we need to go to Disney again! Right!?
