A quick and easy DIY Happy New Year’s Eve Cake using a store-bought cake and redecorating it with gold, silver, and white sprinkles and chocolate letters.
New Year’s Eve is just a few days away and I so wanted to create a new recipe to share with you all before the end of the year.
But unfortunately, I haven’t had time to recipe develop anything new recently.
So I decided to create a semi-homemade New Year’s Eve Cake.
Although honestly, I’m not even sure if this counts as semi-homemade, it’s more like the cake got a makeover.
An awesome New Year’s Eve makeover!
And what’s the new year for if not for fresh starts and new beginnings?

And while you could totally make your own cake with a homemade recipe or box mix, chances are you may be a bit worn out after Christmas.
I sure am!
So instead of making a cake from scratch, I used a store-bought cake.
I added new frosting, lots of sprinkles (on top and on the sides), and wrote out “Happy New Year” with chocolate using this adorable little candy mold (similar one in pink here).
However you celebrate this New Year’s Eve, I hope you have a Happy New Year!
