I wanted to share one last Easter craft with you before the weekend – something simple, some cute, and something that you can give to a friend.
This DIY Easter Egg Card is the perfect little card to go along with your hostess gift for your upcoming Easter party.
Although I made my Easter Egg Card with scrapbook paper, you could use plain white card stock and let your kids do the decorating with stickers, markers, buttons, and glue.
What you’ll need:
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
Glue Stick
First, print out the Easter Egg Card Template and cut it out. (If you want to make it smaller or bigger you can adjust the sizes before printing and cutting.)
Trace the Easter Egg Card Template onto the back of a piece of scrapbook paper and cut it out. The template will be the base of the card and the scrapbook paper the top of the card.
Recognize this paper? It’s the same one I used for my Mason Jar Sugar Dispenser!
There are two ways to make this Easter Egg Card. The first is that you can glue put a little bit of glue at the top of the template and attach the scrapbook paper so that it opens and closes from the top. The second option is cut the scrapbook paper in half – width wise – put a small amount of glue at the upper and lower parts of the template and then attach the scrapbook paper so that it opens from the middle.
I choose this second option.
For the second option, cut out a small circle – or flower – and glue it to the top flap in the middle of the card.
That’s it! All that’s left is to write on the inside and slip it into the bag of your hostess gift!
I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend!
