Easy Game Day Food Bar with 5 tips to help you prepare for a simple and fun game day at home!

My favorite part of football parties has always been the array of food.
And while we will be planning to watch the big game at home this year, I still want the last game of the season to be fun and full of good food!
So, I decided to create a crazy Easy Game Day Food Bar and share how you can create your own!
And because I know you all love savings, I have some tips on how you can save at Publix for the big game!
The Game Day Favorites promotion at Publix is running now through 2/12/21, click here to see more details.
So be sure to keep reading for these awesome savings and 5 tips to help you prepare for a simple and delicious game day at home!
1. Create a Menu
Since food is my favorite part of the game-day watching experience, I like to create a menu that includes a variety of family favorites and new tasty items.
A great way to incorporate both is by looking for what is on sale at Publix.
You can pick up the 1/30 Extra Savings flyer at Publix which will include a Game Day Favorites promotion or check out the offers here.
And if you don’t see the Extra Savings flyer in the kiosk at the store’s entrance, be sure to ask customer service for a flyer!
2. Choose a Location
Next up is deciding where you want to display your game day food and party decor.
I like to use our breakfast bar as the center of the game day food festivities.
3. Gather Ingredients
Once you have a game plan for your menu and an idea of where you want to set up, it’s time to head to Publix.
And if you are hoping to score some extra savings, be sure to look for the at-shelf signs located throughout the store which highlight the savings during the promotion.
I picked up a variety of fun game day munchies while shopping at Publix and in their awesome deli selection.
My favorite game day savings include the $1 off any 1 Black Creek Cheese 7-oz (in select stores), 2 for $7 King’s Hawaiian Rolls 12-ct. 12-oz your choice, and the 2 for $8 Coolhaus Awesome Ice Cream pint your choice (in select stores).
Some of my other favorite gameday scores include the 2 for $5 Planters Nut-rition 5.5-oz your choice, 2 for $5 Mission Tortilla Chips 9 or 13-oz your choice, and $3.49 Mateo’s Gourmet Salsa 16-oz your choice.
4. Add Football Decorations
A couple of years ago I created some game day printables that I pull out every time we plan a fun game day party.
Roger also helped me by drawing a running play on our chalkboard.
I like adding height to food displays and adding a sign or chalkboard art is a great way to do this!
5. Prepare Party Food
Since it’s just going to be the two of us for the big game, I wanted to create simple, easy, and fun finger food.
I sliced the King’s Hawaiian Rolls in half, placed grilled veggies on the bottom half along with Black Creek Cheese, and topped it with the upper half of the King’s Hawaiian Rolls.
I then brushed some butter on top, baked them up, and displayed them next to the Planters Nut-rition, Mission Tortilla Chips, Mateo’s Gourmet Salsa, and Coolhaus Awesome Ice Cream.
Easy peasy and so delicious!
