How to Create a Simple Easter Tablescape that is both beautiful & easy to create this spring.
I can’t believe Easter is almost here! Where is the year going? Soon it will be summer!
But before we get to summer, there are so many exciting things happening this spring! I finally put away the last of my Christmas decor this week, don’t worry it was just a silver bell wreath (although to be honest I put away the last of our small Christmas trees in March – I have a hard time letting go!), & have started decorating for spring & summer.
To share my excitement I thought I would share with you this simple Easter tablescape, along with some tips to help you create your own celebration of spring!
I feel like this simple Easter tablescape is perfect for brunch, lunch, or even a dinner party with all of your friends & family.
You will soon start to notice that there is a purple trend of decor in our home. I’ve realized that I have been buying & painting with purple a lot recently, & I’m thinking that’s because purple is most of my nieces’ (& I have 7 nieces!) favorite color. I’m especially in love with lavender, although I think that one is because my sister loves lavender everything!
So to start off this new purple trend, I have added it to my simple Easter tablescape! I hope you love the color as much as I do because there will be more posts with it coming very soon!
But first, here are some tips to help you create a simple Easter tablescape.
1. Choose a Theme
One of the easiest ways to start is by choosing a theme to guide you as you decorate your table. This year I decided upon a simple Easter tablescape theme with soft colors & natural elements. I decided to skip the addition of any bunny or bird figurines & instead focus on including faux nests, mini basket nests, & paper bird eggs (which I painted white & dusted with gold paint).
Having a theme & idea of what I wanted ahead of time made it very easy to find the decor I was looking for when I went shopping. And as I found pieces I loved, I gravitated towards a color scheme of soft turquoise & lavender to add to my natural love for white & grey.
2. Mix & Match
I first came upon these turquoise chargers & I thought they would add a nice pop of color to the table, but then I found the grey mesh placemats & I fell in love. The problem was I couldn’t decide which one would look best, so I bought both. When I got home I played around with them & discovered that they looked best together as they add both texture & color to the table.
Don’t be afraid to buy a variety of items within your theme, especially since you never know how it will all fit together until you start putting the pieces in place. Then you can simply return what you don’t use or don’t need.
3. Save Time
Whenever we have guests over, I prefer to skip the hassle of dishes & use only fully disposable tableware for easy setup & cleanup. Chinet® Cut Crystal® is the only fully coordinated line of disposable tableware, & their line now includes a new stemless wine glass. I love the clear design & elegant swirl pattern – they perfectly match any theme or decor that you choose for your Easter celebrations.
For my simple Easter tablescape I used the Chinet Cut Crystal line which is convenient, stylish, BPA-free, & recyclable. Plus, their plates and cups are made in the USA. You can learn more here.
4. Add Fresh Details
Adding something fresh can help bring a little extra touch of life & happiness to your table. At Christmas, this might mean Fraser branches or mistletoe, but in the spring I like to add fresh flowers, especially tulips.
You could also decorate by adding fresh fruit or veggies that can double as decor & an appetizer!
5. Plan & Prep Ahead
And finally, be sure to plan & prep ahead to make the day of the party less stressful & more enjoyable. Setting your table a day or two before is a really easy way to be prepared & Chinet Cut Crystal products make hosting a breeze, so you can spend more time with friends, family, & guests.
Plus, by using Chinet Cut Crystal instead of your daily dishware you are able to set up days in advance without running out of dishes for your daily family meals. Chinet Cut Crystal offers the total solution for hosting with a full line of dinner & dessert plates, cups, wine glasses & cutlery so you can easily set another place at the table if unexpected guests arrive.
