A little tour of our Living Room Christmas Decor this holiday season with the new addition of our living room built-ins.

Our living room Christmas decor is finally finished!
Technically I finished it last week, but Thanksgiving week was pretty busy for us.
And since big sis was out of school all week we spent quite a bit of time doing fun Christmasy activities every day.
Her favorite was painting white salt dough ornaments (click here for the white salt dough recipe)!
But with her back in school this week I have had a little bit more time to work.
And now that our living room is complete I can finish our entryways and front porch Christmas decor!

While I absolutely loved the DIY Fresh Evergreen Garland I created last year, I decided to opt for something flocked this year to match our flocked Christmas tree.
I love this crazy inexpensive garland, but it looks a little sparse on its own, so I doubled it up to give it a fuller look on our mantel.
Then I topped it with two strands of white beaded garland and the same ribbon bows from last year.
I contemplated adding something on top of the mantel, in front of the mirror, but then decided to keep it simple since the bookshelves are already filled with pretty Christmas decorations.
Left Book Shelf Details:

We decorated our Christmas tree pretty much the exact same way as last year with flowers and champaign colored ornaments.
Although I’m sure Roger wishes he had hidden the flowers earlier in the year.
And since I’m not one to buy all new Christmas decor every year, I decided to keep a similar color scheme from last year with a few more hints of pink throughout the room.
Hopefully, I will be able to finish decorating the rest of the house this week so that we can cozy up on the couch and relax by the twinkle lights the rest of the Christmas season!
