A tour of our living room Christmas decor in our new home.
I can’t believe we are only 2 weeks away from Christmas!
Our home is finally completely decorated and now we can just sit back and enjoy the season.
Although I haven’t quite finished all of my Christmas present shopping…
Luckily two-day shipping exists and “You are looking at a Prime customer!” (- Jeremy Jam)
So with a little luck and a love for online shopping, I’ll be finished just in the “knick” of time for Old Saint Nick to come down the chimney.
Yes, I think I’m punny.
But don’t worry, I promise no more the rest of the post!
This fall I began discussing Christmas decor color schemes with Roger and one option was a pastel color scheme that included pink.
Roger said he didn’t care, but immediately followed that up with “no pink.”
I agreed we could skip pink this year, and I honestly did mean it!
But just about every time I went Christmas decor shopping at least one pink thing came home with me.
I totally did not mean for that to happen!!
Luckily, Roger has been a good sport about it, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get away with it again next year… We’ll see!
And even though this room was the last for me to finish decorating, we actually bought this Flocked Christmas Tree at the end of summer.
We knew Christmas decor prices would slowly rise as the season drew near, so we bought it early and saved a few dollars.
Of course, when it arrived we had to put it together to make sure it looked good and then we left it up in our family room for months!
I’m always worried about buyer’s remorse when shopping online, but this tree is stunning!
Not only is it fuller than the ones I’ve seen in stores, but also cheaper!
We’ve already started thinking about purchasing another one that’s 12 feet tall for next year and then using this one in our bedroom next Christmas.
Yep, I’ve just finished decorating and I’ve already started planning next year.
What can I say, I love Christmas!
I hope this little Christmas decor room tour helps you as you decorate your home this holiday season!
