Yesterday I helped host a baby shower for my beautiful sister Kelly. The theme was Princess Under a Willow Tree and I can’t wait to meet baby Willow in a few short months! Since there was so much that happened at the shower it is going to take me all week to share everything with you!
First up are the Baby Shower Drinks!
For the drinks, we did a mixture of pink lemonade and sprite, but instead of using a standard frozen object to keep our drinks cool, we decided to use frozen blueberries. The blueberries we used came from my mothers blueberry bushes last summer that were frozen for occasions such as this. Frozen blueberries from the grocery store would work perfectly as well.
The cute mason jars and lids are my sister’s Chas, whose beautiful house we held the baby shower at. I’m not sure where she found her lids but I found the same Pewter Daisy Jelly Lids for Mason Jars online in case you are interested – affiliate link.
We had the drinks premade and poured into the mason jars so that the guests could pick them up as needed, but you could easily keep the blueberries frozen in an icebox so that the guests can serve themselves.
Have you ever noticed that drinks at parties have a tendency to just vanish into thin air only seconds after you take one sip? We wanted to avoid this problem, especially since you can’t just pull another mason jar out of a bag when you need a new drink. These name tags attached to mason jars are the perfect solution to your wedding shower or baby shower dilemma.
To make these cute little name tags here is what you’ll need:
A Stamp – I used a stamp that I found at Hobby Lobby
Ink – the color that goes with your theme
First, cut out all the name tags, then stamp each tag in to corner. Finally, punch a hole in the tag, and attach the tag to the mason jar with your twine.
So simple, yet so helpful! There were even small mason jar drinks for the two little girls who joined us at the shower!
Check back tomorrow to find out about these Mini Cinnamon Rolls on a stick!
