November was a very exciting blogging month for Domestically Blissful with both the traffic & income being at record highs! Plus I must admit some of my favorite posts of the year I shared in November – probably because they are all about Christmas!
I had almost 20,000 more views in November than I did in October. Now I know that the holiday season is the biggest time of the year for bloggers, & while I know January will be a very low month, I also don’t expect the numbers to be this high in December. I am however elated to have had 63,737 views in November! That is definitely a record high! All thanks to you!!!
While my Hometalk views went way up my Craftgawker views took a hit. I then started noticing that FoodGawker & CraftGawker were making notes that my pictures looked dull & unsharp. I then started looking up ways to fix this in Lightroom & discovered that there was a whole section of editing tools that I had never added to my sidebar & thus never used! So hopefully now that I am reediting those pictures they will be accepted by FoodGawker & CraftGawker in December!
Last month I noticed a huge increase of views from Hometalk & followers on Facebook & I know it must be due to the wonderful people of Hometalk who shared a few of my Christmas posts! If you haven’t checked out Hometalk before you definitely should now! It’s a wonderful site where anyone can post pictures & ask any questions they have related to their home!
I was so excited to see that I am not the only one who got into the Christmas Spirit in November – especially since I shared so many Christmas crafts! I still can’t decide which is my favorite Christmas Ornament from the 3 I shared with you last month, but it definitely looks like the Sparkling Star Mason Jar Lid Ornament is well loved!
Just like in October the Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup was the recipe that has had the most impressions, clicks, repins, & likes for November.
Those November views really boosted the income for November!
Gourmet Ads: $69.68
Amazon Affiliate Program: $20.96
If you noticed above, I had 63,737 views for November this means that I averaged a little over $1.00 for every 1000 views on Gourmet Ads. They are definitely an ad program I intend to keep forever!
Just remember, even though I didn’t have any “expenses” in November I did pay for 3 more years of hosting service over the summer. Oh & I also don’t include the cost of any of the materials I needed for my crafts or ingredients for my recipes.
