Ok. What can I tell you about last month before I get to the Traffic and Income Report?
Well, I was sick for a whole week… So I only ended up posting once that week to tell you I was sick & hadn’t just disappeared off the face of the planet.
So that was a wasted blogging week.
The sad part is that I always get sick once in the fall & once in the spring. My allergies are so bad that my immune system disintegrates to the point that if I pick up the tiniest of germs I immediately fall ill.
Oh well! The good news is I am safe from seasonal allergies until the spring!
Unfortunately, that means I did one less week of posting, so one week of less traffic & income that I could have had if I had been posting normally. Although it is better than last month’s 2 weeks absence due to all of those problems!
Anyways I am super excited about the new ad program I was accepted into last month, but before I get to that let’s start with this month’s Traffic Report!
Traffic Report
I am excited to show you that for the month of October I had 45,887 page views!
Although the average session duration went down an average of 9 seconds, the Pages per Session that people viewed went from 2.64 pages per session up to 2.78 pages per session!
Plus the Sessions went from 12,098 to 16,535 & the Users went from 10,534 to 14,446!
I love seeing the changes each month & where my views are coming from!
It’s interesting that Craftgawker (which was in the number 3 slot last month) isn’t even in the top ten, but Foodgawker made it up to number 4!
I guess people were more interested in the recipes I shared in October than they were of the crafts! However when you check out the “Popular Posts” at the side & bottom of this page you will notice that there are an even number of DIY projects & Recipes from this month that made it on the list!
I also must admit that I am super surprised that the Pumpkin Spice Cookies with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting didn’t make it on the “Popular Posts” list!
They are probably my favorite recipe from last month! Seriously I ate them for breakfast everyday! Although I can understand peoples interest in the Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup & the Pumpkin Ricotta Gnocchi with Sage Brown Butter Sauce.
So remember how I said that Pinterest was other bloggers main source of views but wasn’t mine yet? Turns out I forgot to check these statistics!
Pinterst is number 1! Thank you to all of you wonderful pinners!!!
I love seeing three posts (Mini Caramel Apples, Fresh Apple Cinnamon Scones, & French Vanilla Hot Chocolate) from last year resurfacing again this year! Especially since I know my picture taking skills were not what they are now, & hopefully will continue to improve!
If you haven’t noticed a trend, people seem to be very interested in the Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup!
This is actually the first soup that I made all by myself!
I feel like a little girl all grown up!
Usually it’s Roger who makes the soup & I am his assistant, but this time I made the soup!
Income Report
A little less income coming in this month from the blog, but thankfully no new surprising expenses popped up!
Income:
Gourmet Ads: $49.32
Amazon Affiliate Program: $9.86
Chitika: $2.97
Total: $62.15
Expenses:
None.
So as you noticed no BlogHer social media influencer to report this month, which meant that I couldn’t add the $50 I have reported for the last two months.
However now that I have completed a full month with Gourmet Ads, & have seen the potential, I am really excited to see what next month brings!
