Peel and Stick: Spring Redecorating and Organization

I’m always losing my to-do list! Luckily Fathead has me covered with their Peel and Stick Spring Redecorating and Organizational products!

 

I love organization! And one of my favorite ways to stay organized is through to-do lists.

The problem is I am constantly losing my scrap paper to-do lists. Seriously, the moment I go to check something off my list it’s disappeared into thin air & then it usually doesn’t reappear until days or weeks later, after I have written & lost countless other to-do lists.

My guess is that they are constantly disappearing because I write them on tiny pieces of paper that are indistinguishable amongst my projects & recipe notes.

And as we are in the process of moving my to-do lists keep getting more confusing. So I needed something quick, simple, & easily transferable to help me stay organized this spring as we prepare for moving this summer!

 

 

 

For several years I have seen Fathead commercials advertising their “peel and stick” wall decals & home decor. For those of you who are new to Fathead, Fathead was formed in 2006 by a few team members who had a real passion for bringing inspiration to life. And today they are the industry leader in graphics for large & small spaces. Fatheads are composed of vibrant images & top quality materials that come in a variety of sizes & are moveable, reusable, & won’t damage walls.

When I went to the Fathead website I was pleasantly surprised by all the options they had available & how there is something for everybody!

I wanted something pretty & colorful to enhance our space, flow nicely with our next home, & would be functional now & in the future. And I found exactly what I was looking for, actually I found lots of wall decals that I absolutely loved! 

Fathead’s website had so many options for list makers & organizers, like myself, & the tricky part was deciding between all of the adorable options. Oh, & did I mention that they have both dry erase & chalkboard options!? After having a billion tabs open, going back & forth between all of my favorites, I finally decided on the Small Weekly Dry-Erase Calendar Circles in Mint. And when it arrived in the mail I could have squealed with excitement! 

It was prettier than I could have imagined!

 

 

Of course Roger then wanted to find something for himself too. It was easy to decide between Star Trek & Star Wars, but then the process became harder because there were so many Star Trek options. (BTW there are over 200 Star Wars options as well!) After debating (with himself) for about half an hour he finally decided on the U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-D Wall Decal.

While we don’t have a good place for this beauty in our little townhouse, my husband has already made plans for it in our first home! 

I heard him excitedly telling our nephew last weekend that he is going to paint one of our basement walls black, with tiny stars all over it, & stick his Fathead U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-D Wall Decal right in the center. How cool will that be??

Oh yes, & I promise to share a special blog post/tutorial with you when we do his movie room renovation! It’s going to be awesome! 

 

 

While we were browsing through all of the fun decorative options on the Fathead website we discovered the “Create Your Own Fathead” option where you can create a custom Fathead. 

Since we had already placed in our cart something for me, & something for my husband, we decided to add something for us! And after looking at all of their options we decided on a canvas wrap. 

Before we checked out I did one last look through on the Fathead website & discovered that they also sell Dry Erase Erasers & a Pack of 4 Dry Erase Markers so I added them to our cart as well. I loved that they had everything I needed right on their website!

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my items arrived! The first wall decals came within 2-3 days after ordering & my custom canvas order (which normally takes a little more time) came shortly there after! 

 

 

Now while we are waiting to put up Roger’s Fathead U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-D Wall Decal until we have the space in our new home, I couldn’t help but snap a few shots of the amazingness of his Fathead.

I mean seriously! This thing is gigantic! It is like 6 or 7 feet long!

BTW do you see how many extra decals it comes with? We are going to have a blast putting it up & showing it to our nieces & nephews! Move-in day can’t come soon enough!!!

 

 

Applying my Mint Weekly Dry-Erase Calendar Circles to our freezer door was super easy. To prep the area I simply wiped down the freezer door with a warm damp cloth & then a clean dry cloth. Next I pulled off each decal circle (one at a time) and lightly placed them on our freezer door, which you can see in the photo above.

By lightly placing them on the freezer I was able to adjust them & move them around easily & once they were exactly where I wanted them I smoothed them out & the got the little bubbles out.

 

 

Super easy & it took only a matter of minutes! The quality of these Fathead Weekly Dry-Erase Calendar Circles was great & I’m extremely happy with the mint color I chose, although I also thought the other color options were gorgeous, especially the coral color! 

Roger even said they looked great on our freezer! I think they add the perfect touch of color to our kitchen while being both adorable & functional!
