Sift the 2 & 1/4 cups all purpose flour, 3 teaspoons cornstarch, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, & 1 teaspoon salt into a bowl.
In a separate bowl use a hand mixer to blend the butter, slowly adding in the 1/2 cup white sugar & then the 1 cup brown sugar to make a thick cream.
Next, add one egg at a time, including the yoke, blending until combined between each addition.
Then blend in the 1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
By hand, stir in the dry ingredients just until combined, but don’t over mix.
Then fold in the 3/4 cup butterscotch, 3/4 cup chocolate chips, & 1 cup chopped pretzels.
Use a cookie/ice cream scoop to measure the cookie dough for uniform cookies, press into each cookie a pretzel (broken into 3 pieces), a few extra butterscotch pieces or chocolate chips, & bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
Your Sea Salt Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies are done when they begin to turn golden brown. *(1)
Let cool, then drizzle melted dark chocolate on each cookie & sprinkle with sea salt.
They will still be hot when you pull them out of the oven & will continue to bake on the inside so make sure not to over bake them!
