This S’mores Charcuterie Board is covered with fresh berries, toasted marshmallows, graham crackers, wafer cookies, and Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.
One of my favorite end of summer and beginning of fall desserts is s’mores.
I love the combination of toasted marshmallows and rich dark chocolate sandwiched between graham crackers.
And I especially love s’mores when combined with the intense, complex, and perfectly dark chocolate of Ghirardelli Intense Dark 72% High Cacao.
Although I love s’mores, we rarely have time to build a fire outside for traditional s’mores.
So I thought it would be fun to create a S’mores Charcuterie Board that we can have any time in the comfort of our home.
This is a fun way to elevate a childhood favorite dessert normally created outdoors that is almost too pretty to eat!
But believe me, you are going to want to eat this S’mores Charcuterie Board!
For our S’mores Charcuterie Board, I included a mixture of Ghirardelli Intense Dark 72% High Cacao, Ghirardelli Intense Dark Sea Salt Soiree, Ghirardelli Intense Dark 92% High Cacao, and Ghirardelli Intense Dark 86% High Cacao.
They all have such deep flavors and I love having a variety to choose from as I mix and match my s’mores toppings.
Currently, my favorite combination is the Ghirardelli Intense Dark 72% High Cacao, dipped in toasted marshmallow, on top of a wafer cookie, with a few berries on top.
And if you can’t wait to make this S’mores Charcuterie Board, Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate is 2/$5 at Publix for a limited time.
You can find them in the chocolate aisle at Publix.
This dessert board was so easy to create, I have a feeling I’ll be making it, again and again, this fall!
For this S’mores Charcuterie Board, I toasted the marshmallows in a mini cast-iron skillet at a low broil for a couple of minutes, keeping a close eye on in it so that as soon as it began to get melty and brown, I pulled it out to cool slightly.
I then added the toasted marshmallows to my dessert board and surrounded it with graham crackers, wafer cookies, fresh berries, and Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.
You can use a knife to spread the warm marshmallows on your s’mores or simply dip any or all of the toppings into the marshmallows for a fun deconstructed s’mores treat.
I love that Ghirardelli makes life a bite better!
Whether you make this for a family gathering or a romantic date night in, taking a moment to enjoy a bit of intense dark chocolate can be a great moment for yourself and reset your entire day.
And my day is definitely better with this S’mores Charcuterie Board for dessert!
I hope you enjoy your S’mores Charcuterie Board!
