These twine wrapped tin cans are a cheap way to add style to your home or dorm room, plus you will be helping the environment!
This twine wrapped tin can could be used to hold your favorite candle.
You can make a twine wrapped tin can to hold dry flowers or real flowers. For fresh flowers I would advise placing a plastic cup inside your tin can to keep it from rusting.
This twine wrapped tin can could be filled with pencils, pens, scissors, or other dorm necessities. It can also be used to hold makeup brushes or cooking utensils.
What you’ll need:
Clean tin can
Hot glue gun with glue
First, place a dot of glue on the bottom of the tin can and attach the end of the twine.
Add a line of glue around the base of the can and continue to wrap the twine around the can.
Continue to glue and wrap around your can. – Half way there!
Once you get to the top, you could either continue gluing and wrapping the twine inside the top of the can, or just glue and cut the twine at the top of the can.
That is all there is to it! You could either leave it plain, add lace, buttons, or a cute pinwheel.
